Great day on the water
The weather and schedules finally coincided to get on the water for the first time since February! Jake and I got out of Port Everglades on a mission to do some inshore fishing in the mangroves, targeting reds, snook, and trout. We launched from Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park and headed to the mangrove line to the south. We threw artificials and had a great time, although we only caught a few small inshore barracudas. The weather was great, and the company was even better. Overall it was just a great day to be out on the water.
