Got on the water around 0730 for a day of trolling the reef for mahi/tuna. Had pre-rigged and un-rigged ballyhoo and other trolling baits ready to go. Got baits in the water around 150' and trolled N/NE until almost 1,000'. Found a weedline around 700' and trolled parallel to it, but no luck. Saw very little bait; most boats were kite fishing near Fowley Rocks Light. Watched one boat land/release a beautiful sailfish while we were trolling, but no luck for us. Got back to the dock around 1530. It was a beautiful day on the water, but no fish to show.
